Judas Priest to Perform at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, Sunday, October 13

RENO, Nev. (June 11, 2024) – Legendary heavy metal band Judas Priest, along with Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton, will bring their Invincible Shield Tour to Grand Sierra Resort’s (GSR) acclaimed Grand Theatre on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for Judas Priest at GSR go on sale Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. PT and start at $99.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Infinity Rewards members will have access to presale beginning Thursday, June 13 from 12 p.m. PT through 11:59 p.m. PT. Formed in Birmingham, England in 1969, Judas Priest is one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time. Known for their iconic leather-and-studs image and the powerful vocals of lead singer Rob Halford, the band has been a pioneering force in the genre. With classic albums such as “British Steel” (1980), “Screaming for Vengeance” (1982) and “Painkiller” (1990), Judas Priest has produced anthems like “Breaking the Law,” “Living After Midnight,” and “You've Got Another Thing Comin’.”

Throughout their career, Judas Priest has sold over 50 million records worldwide and received numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2010. Their latest album, “Invincible Shield” (2024), debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and topped the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart in the US. Produced by Andy Sneap, with two tracks co-produced by Tom Allom, the album has been praised for its powerful sound and intricate compositions. The band continues to tour globally, delivering electrifying performances that solidify their status as heavy metal icons.

Supporting Judas Priest on this tour is Swedish heavy metal band Sabaton. Known for their historical themes and epic sound, Sabaton has gained a substantial following with albums like “The Great War” (2019) and “The War to End All Wars” (2022). Doors open at 7 p.m.
