Judas Priest, formed in 1969 in Birmingham, England, have reigned as heavy metal icons for over 50 years. Known for their pioneering sound and iconic leather-and-studs look, they emerged with albums like “Sad Wings of Destiny” (1976) and achieved global fame in the “80s with classics such as “British Steel” (1980) and “Screaming for Vengeance” (1982). The arrival of drummer Scott Travis in 1990 heralded their heaviest release, “Painkiller”.
