Rick Ross catapulted to fame with his debut single “Hustlin’” in 2006, igniting a bidding war between major labels before signing with Jay-Z's Def Jam Recordings. His debut album, “Port of Miami,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a feat he replicated with his subsequent albums “Trilla” (2008) and “Deeper Than Rap” (2009).
