RENO, Nev. (Jan. 20, 2024) – Following the success of last month’s ice skating exhibition, guests will be treated to another special performance of world-class ice skating at the Grand Sierra Resort’s (GSR) Ice Rink on Sunday, Jan. 21 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This event will feature a careful selection of figure skaters, local professionals, a talented seven-year-old and more who will showcase their incredible skills. Skaters for this weekend's performance includes John Bovet, Ali Munoz, Adley Uranga, Kat Fossum, Elle Rodriquez, Emily McClain, Nina Feng, Lillian Fu, Roma Petrilla and Hannah Mills.
Entry to watch the exhibition is complimentary. Eager guests can test out their skills on the ice and can purchase tickets for one-hour skate sessions, including skate rentals, for $17. Ice time can be reserved for $10 per hour.
Guests can warm up after the showcase with hot cocoa for $5 and s’mores kits will be available for $12. Additionally, GSR will hold a free raffle for a chance to win an Ice Rink package for four.
Plans are under way for another performance on Sunday, February 25 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Each performance is weather dependent.
