Grab some skates, or bring your own, and glide around our magnificent outdoor rink. Fun for the whole family, The Ice Rink at GSR is the perfect place to glide and twirl around for a spectacular skating adventure.

Daily Session Schedule

Each session is one full hour. Time in between session ensure time to clear and groom the ice. Venue opens doors at 4:00pm each day. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to session start time – 60 minutes if you need to purchase tickets in person.

Session #1: 5:00pm–6:00pm
Session #2: 6:30pm–7:30pm
Session #3: 8:00pm–9:00pm
Session #4: 9:30pm–10:30pm
Session #5: 11:00pm–Midnight* (Friday & Saturday only)

*The 5th session will also be available on Nov 27, Nov 28, Dec 22–Jan 1, Jan 19 & Feb 16.

Treats & Toddies

Fun holiday snack and drinks are available at the venue featuring hot cocoa, apple cider and s'mores for everyone and a specialty cocktail menu for the adults.

How do I purchase session ticket(s) for The Ice Rink?

You can purchase session ticket(s) online for The Ice Rink in advance, preferably at least a day in advance.

While you can purchase session tickets when you arrive at The Ice Rink, you are strongly encouraged to purchase session ticket(s) online ahead of time.

Please note, in-person sales are only available to purchase 30 minutes before each session. (Based on availability)

Please ensure you have signed the online waiver for The ice Rink before arriving at the venue.

What should I do when I arrive at The Ice Rink?

Arrive at The Ice Rink at least 30 minutes ahead of your desired session time (60 minutes in advance if you need to purchase session tickets).

Check-in with a GSR attendant to confirm your session time (you will receive a hand stamp for your specified session).

The attendant will also verify your signed wavier — please ensure you have signed the online waiver for The Ice Rink in advance — and, the attendant assist with outfitting you with ice skates (if needed).

When is The Ice Rink open?

Opening day for The Ice Rink at GSR is to be announced.

The Ice Rink will open Sunday–Thursday from 4:00pm to 10:30pm and Friday & Saturday from 4:00pm to Midnight. The first skating session begins at 5:00pm.

All session and open times are weather permitting. If weather is such that skating conditions are unsafe, The Ice Rink will close until conditions improve.

Where is The Ice Rink located? The Ice Rink is located on the South side of the property, near The Pool.

Where do I park for The Ice Rink? Complimentary parking is available in every parking lot at GSR. The parking lots on the South side of the property will be closest to The Ice Rink.

Do I have to sign a waiver to skate at The Ice Rink?

Yes, each person who will be skating at The ice Rink must have signed a wavier.

You are encouraged to sign the online waiver for The ice Rink before arriving for your skating session.

Can I bring my own skates to The Ice Rink? Yes, you can bring your own ice skates. Please ensure your personal skates are in good condition. By bringing your own skates you will only need to purchase "Ice Time Only" for $12. (Only available to pay onsite)

Can I rent skates at The Ice Rink?

Yes, you can rent skates at The Ice Rink. Be sure to select "Skate Rental + Ice Time" when purchasing your selected session time.

Skates are available in a range of sizes from Youth size 8 through Men's size 15.

Note: the conversion for Women's skate size is -2 from Men's size. For example, a Women's size 8 will be a Men's size 6.

Will skate helpers, and helmets be available for skaters? We have a variety of skate helpers that are available to rent per session for $10, and are on a first come first serve basis. Extra protection is always welcome, so please feel free to bring your own helmets.

Can children under 12 years skate at The Ice Rink?

Yes, but children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is at least 18 years old.

Children are not allowed to be carried while inside the rink.

Do I need identification when renting skates? Yes, we require an identification card, that will be held until your skating session is over and skates are returned.

Can I leave and come back at The Ice Rink?

Yes, you may leave and return during your paid session.

Note: you must leave your rented skates when you leave, and wait in line to receive a pair when you return.

Can I buy a Season Pass for The Ice Rink?

Yes. A season pass is $275 per person which includes your skate rental and access to all sessions.

Pricing and purchase information for The Ice Rink Season Pass is available online (select any date and then select the Season Pass option).

How will you determine who should be in which session? When you register, scan your mobile device with an Ice Rink Team Member. At that time it will display that your waiver is complete. You will then be issued a hand stamp that corresponds to your session time. We change the hand stamps each session.

How do I reserve a fire pit? Advanced reservations are highly encouraged. Each fire pit can accommodate a maximum of 12 people. For fire pit reservations, please call 775-789-5399.
