RENO, Nev. (Sept. 5, 2023) – The original steakhouse tradition, The Beefsteak returns to Charlie Palmer Steak at Grand Sierra Resort. Featuring copious amounts of beef, abundant libations, and live music to sing along to, guests will revel in the indulgences of food, drink and song on Saturday, Sept. 30. Festive embroidered aprons will be provided to all that join; utensils are optional, and for the faint of heart.
Catering to the adventurous palate, the event will feature a family-style, four-course dinner showcasing an array of mouthwatering dishes. The evening commences with a bountiful selection of appetizers including aged Irish whiskey cheddar, warm and buttery Charlie Palmer garlic bread and a crudités platter featuring an assortment of tangy pickled vegetables. Elevated steakhouse classics include a fresh chop salad, delectable bacon, truffle deviled eggs and Oysters Rockefeller.
For the main course, guests can pick from a trio of extraordinary dishes to continue the culinary adventure. Options include the signature smoked prime rib, made from the highest quality beef and smoked to perfection; herb roasted lamb chops drizzled with a mint jus and bursting with flavor; or grilled bone marrow canoes delicately adorned with charred lemon, capers and fine herbs. An ensemble of delectable side dishes, such as peewee potatoes roasted in rich duck fat and charred togarashi broccolini perfectly complement the main course, ensuring a truly remarkable dining experience. As the celebration draws to a close, guests will be treated to an assortment of unforgettable sweet treats, including s’mores cupcakes, roasted peach “sliders” and the fan-favorite miniature “nutty buddies.”
With a special focus on local distillers and breweries, guests can experience one of Reno’s most respected and delicious bourbons by Frey Ranch, along with special guest and Co-founder Colby Frey. Guests can also tap into an incredible selection of beers from homegrown breweries including The Depot, The Fox, and Brewer’s Cabinet. Wine enthusiasts can also sip, swirl and savor from an award-winning selection of red and white wine.
Renowned chef Charlie Palmer will preside as master of ceremonies for The Beefsteak feast. Live entertainment will be provided by local favorites, Eric and Joel from The Novelists. For guests inclined to join the merriment, a song book will be provided to sing along with Charlie and the festivities.
