Reno, Nev. – International - rock superstars, Scorpions, will perform at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino’s (GSR) Grand Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 3 and will be accompanied by American thrash metal pioneer, Megadeath, as part of their 2017 Crazy World Tour. For several decades, Scorpions has been one of Europe’s most successful rock bands, selling over 100 million albums worldwide and are known for smash hits such as “Rock You Like A Hurricane” and “Wind of Change.” The group has also been certified silver, gold and platinum countless times and has performed sold-out shows in every corner of the world. Rolling Stone referred to the group as “the heroes of heavy metal,” and MTV called them “ambassadors of rock.” Scorpions will be joined by Megadeath, one of the rock groups responsible for thrash metal’s development and popularization. Megadeath has sold over 50 million records worldwide, been certified platinum five times and had twelve Grammy nominations.
