GSR recognized for hospitality excellence by TripAdvisor

Reno, Nev.Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR), the region’s premier resort destination, was recently awarded a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for consistently achieving outstanding traveler reviews on the popular online travel guide. The award recognizes hospitality excellence throughout the entire property which includes more than 2,000 rooms, 200,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, a well-appointed spa, William Hill Race and Sports book, 11 dining options including Charlie Palmer Steak and the impressive LEX Nightclub.
“Over the past few years we have invested more than $75 million to create a world class resort destination,” said Tracy Mimno, general manager of GSR. “But an unparalleled experience is not just about having premium venues. It’s about providing exceptional service and awards like this serve as a confirmation that we are doing just that.”
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four (or higher) out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on the TripAdvisor.com website. Additional criteria includes the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. This is GSR’s third Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor. In 2013, GSR received a Certificate of Excellence for their newly revamped dining experience, Elements Buffet and also received a 2014 Certificate of Excellence for hospitality.
