Reno, Nev.– Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) is pleased to welcome Creedence Clearwater Revisited to the Summit Pavilion on Friday, June 19. The one-night-only show will celebrate the original group's legendary music performed by two of the band’s founding members and Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” Clifford. Since launching the project in 1995, Cook and Clifford have been rocking audiences worldwide with performances that are reminiscent of the classic rock band that started it all. The duo have received numerous accolades for their music and were recognized in 2014 by the Recording Academy for their work of the original band by inducting its album “Cosmo’s Factory” into the Grammy Awards Hall of Fame. Creedence Clearwater Revisited’s album “Recollection” is a platinum- selling album consisting of live covers of the original band’s hits. Creedence Clearwater Revisited will bring some fan-favorite hits like “Fortunate Son,” “Born on the Bayou,” “Down on the Corner,” “Bad Moon Rising” and many more to their Reno show.

The Grand Theatre – GSR’s main entertainment venue, is currently undergoing a $10 million renovation making it one of the top entertainment venues in the West with a capacity of 2,700 including well-appointed luxury seats with more legroom, wider seats and wider aisles. In addition exclusive VIP booths with personalized beverage and bottle service will be available for small groups and special occasions. Designed by John Sergio Fisher & Associates, the theatre will also include a two-tiered entry with an all-new, enclosed lobby, state-of-the-art lighting and sound renovations, as well as new artist facilities including dressing rooms, green rooms and an artist lounge.
