RENO, Nev. (January 21, 2025) – Grammy-nominated hip-hop group Cypress Hill will take the stage with The Reno Philharmonic at Grand Sierra Resort’s (GSR) acclaimed Grand Theatre on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 8 p.m.

This one-of-a-kind performance blends Cypress Hill’s iconic West Coast hip-hop sound with orchestral arrangements, reimagining some of the group’s most memorable hits with the power of a live symphony.

Tickets for An Evening with Cypress Hill and The Reno Philharmonic at GSR go on sale Friday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. PT and start at $49.50, plus additional taxes and fees. Infinity Rewards members will have access to presale beginning Thursday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. PT to 10 p.m. PT. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit grandsierraresort.com or call 1-800-648-3568.

Since forming in 1988, Cypress Hill has been a pioneering force in hip-hop, achieving mainstream success with hits like “Insane in the Brain,” “How I Could Just Kill a Man” and “Rock Superstar.” Known for their energetic live shows and genre-defining sound, Cypress Hill has collaborated with orchestras in recent years, creating new interpretations of their music for symphony settings. A highlight of this journey was their celebrated performance with the London Symphony Orchestra in 2023 — a playful nod to their appearance in a classic “Simpsons” episode, where the group performs alongside a symphony.

In its 55th season, The Reno Philharmonic is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching its community through performance, education and engagement programs. Under the leadership of Music Director Laura Jackson, the Reno Phil reaches more than 50,000 people each year, presenting a full season of concerts. Doors open at 7 p.m.
