Felipe Esparza is a Mexican-American comedian and actor, best known for his raw and self-deprecating humor. Born in Sinaloa, Mexico, Esparza immigrated to the U.S. as a child, eventually growing up in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. His challenging upbringing and experiences as an immigrant shaped much of his comedic material. He began his stand-up career in 1994 and gained national recognition by winning Last Comic Standing in 2010. Esparza has released multiple comedy specials, including HBO’s “Translate This” (2017) and Netflix’s “Bad Decisions” (2020); he also hosts the popular podcast “What's Up Fool?” Doors open at 7 p.m.
