Known for their energetic, club-ready sound, Travis Porter consists of stepbrothers Ali and Quez, alongside their childhood friend Strap, who they met during their school years. Gaining recognition in the early 2010s, they made waves with their infectious tracks, including “Make It Rain,” which marked their debut single under Jive Records in 2010. This song, along with follow-up hits like “Bring It Back” and “Ayy Ladies” (featuring Tyga), helped propel the group onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Ayy Ladies” became especially popular, earning triple platinum certification from the RIAA.
In 2012, Travis Porter released their first studio album, “From Day 1,” which debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200. Their rise to fame was marked by a fun, party-centric sound that resonated with audiences, especially in the club scene. Although “From Day 1” was their only major-label project, the trio remains an influential part of Atlanta's hip hop scene.
