Celebrated for her relatable humor and Southern charm, Morgan's journey into comedy was unconventional. After having her first child, she started working as a jewelry saleswoman to stay busy. It wasn’t long before she discovered that her true talent lay not in selling jewelry, but in making people laugh. During her door-to-door visits, she would entertain clients with anecdotes about motherhood, which struck a chord with many. These impromptu comedy sessions soon led to bookings for stand-up gigs, and a new career was born.
Morgan's ability to connect with audiences through her humor led to rapid success. By 2023, her first comedy special on YouTube had garnered over 50 million views, a testament to her widespread appeal. Her Netflix special, “Leanne Morgan: I'm Every Woman,” continued this success, earning a spot in the top 10 comedy specials on the platform.
