RENO, Nev. (June 26, 2024) – Emerging singer-songwriter Stephen Sanchez will perform at Grand Sierra Resort’s (GSR) acclaimed Grand Theatre on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024 at 8 p.m.

Sanchez's career began to take off in 2020 when he posted a cover of Cage the Elephant's “Cigarette Daydreams” on TikTok, steadily building an audience that grew to over 122,000 followers. Following the release of a snippet of his original song “Lady by the Sea,” singer-songwriter Jeremy Zucker offered to produce the official version, which was released in July 2020. This led to Sanchez signing a deal with Republic Records.
Sanchez released his debut EP, “What Was, Not Now,” in 2021 and continued the momentum with the single “Missing You” in 2022 followed by “Evangeline” in 2023. A notable highlight of his career occurred on June 25, 2023, when he performed his hit single, “Until I Found You,” on stage with Elton John at Glastonbury 2023.
Sanchez's debut album, “Angel Face,” was released in 2023 and was heavily influenced by the music of the 1950s and 1960s, an era that he has cited as a major inspiration from a young age. Doors open at 7 p.m.
