RENO, Nev. (Sept. 15, 2023) – Chili and brew lovers gear up for a tongue-tingling showdown of flavors as the fan-favorite Beer & Chili Festival makes a return to Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) on Saturday, Oct. 21. Early entry starts at 12 p.m. with general admission at 1 p.m. The event runs until 6 p.m. when the “People’s Choice” chili and beer will be crowned.
GSR’s Beer & Chili Festival will feature over two dozen local, regional and national craft beer favorites. Alongside these brews, local restaurants will be serving up mouthwatering chili samples and featured menu specialties. Attendees hold the power to cast their votes for the best beer and chili champion. The top restaurant and brewery will each earn the “People’s Choice” title and a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choosing, a trophy and bragging rights.
Guests can also expect live music from featured bands such as Steel Breeze, Reckless Envy and fan-favorite The Spazmatics. Plus, DJ Rekoh Suave will be spinning hits throughout the day.
A variety of packages, including early bird specials, are available for beer and chili lovers. Before Saturday, Oct. 7, unlimited beer and chili tasting packages with one hour early entry begin at $60 or $50 for general admission. Unlimited beer-only tasting packages with early entry begin at $50 or $40 for general admission.
After Oct. 7, prices will increase by $10. A portion of ticket proceeds from the Beer & Chili Festival will benefit the Reno Rodeo Foundation.
