RENO, Nev. (May 11, 2023) — Rising norteño band Grupo Frontera is set to take the stage at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino’s (GSR) acclaimed Grand Theatre on Saturday, June 10 at 8 p.m.

Música Mexicana continues its impressive global ascent, thanks in large part to wildly popular bands, such as the rising norteño outfit Grupo Frontera. Formed in 2022, Grupo Frontera has already been seeing massive success. The band — made up of Adelaido Solís, Julian Peña Jr., Alberto Acosta, Carlos Zamora, Carlos Guerrero and Juan Javier Cantu — currently has three songs on the Billboard 100, including the Fuerza Regida collaboration “Bebe Dame,” the Carin Leon collaboration “Que Vuelvas” and the viral single “No Se Va.”
Getting their start by posting hit songs in norteño and cumbia styles on Youtube, Grupo Frontera quickly rose to popularity and are on their way to becoming industry phenomena. Over the past month, the group won their first Latin American Music Award and performed their song in collaboration with Bad Bunny, "un x100to," at Coachella.
