Gordon Sumner, known as Sting, was the frontman, songwriter and bassist for new wave rock band The Police from 1977 until their breakup in 1986. From 1978 to 1983, they had five UK chart-topping albums and won six Grammy Awards and two Brit Awards. Their final album, “Synchronicity” (1983), was nominated for five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year. It included their most successful song, "Every Breath You Take." Written by Sting, the single was the biggest US and Canadian hit that year, topping the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for eight weeks. It remains one of the most performed songs hitting 15 million radio plays and replacing “You've Lost That Loving Feeling” at the top spot in 2019.

Sting’s first solo album, “The Dream of the Blue Turtles” (1985), included the hit singles "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free," "Fortress Around Your Heart," "Love Is the Seventh Wave" and "Russians.” Within a year, the album reached Triple Platinum.

Sting would go on to produce another 14 studio albums including, most recently, “My Songs” (2019) and “The Bridge” (2021).

Throughout his illustrious career, Sting has sold 100 million albums from his combined work with The Police and as a solo artist. As one of the world’s most distinctive solo artists, Sting has received an additional 11 Grammy Awards, two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, four Oscar nominations, a Tony nomination, Billboard Magazine’s Century Award and MusiCares 2004 Person of the Year. In 2003, he was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth I for his myriad contributions to music. Also a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, he has received the Kennedy Center Honors, The American Music Award of Merit and The Polar Music Prize.

Sting’s My Songs concert is an exuberant and dynamic show featuring his most beloved songs both with The Police and as a solo artist. Fans can expect to be taken on a musical journey with timeless hits like “Fields of Gold,” “Shape of My Heart,” “Roxanne,” “Englishman In New York,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In A Bottle,” “Demolition Man” and many more.

Sting will be accompanied by an electric, rock ensemble. Special guest Joe Sumner will also be appearing. Doors open at 7 p.m.
