RENO, Nev. (Jan. 24, 2023) – Revered for their modern take on the traditional norteño style, Bronco is set to bring their legendary sound to Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) on Friday, Aug. 11, 2023 at 8 p.m.
Tickets for Bronco at GSR go on sale Friday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. PT and start at $45, plus additional taxes and fees. Hailing from Apodaca, Mexico, Bronco’s effortless stage presence and endless string of international hits in the ’80s and ’90s solidified the grupero band’s status as superstars. Band members José Guadalupe Esparza, Ramiro Delgado, Javier Villareal, and José Luís “Choche'' Villareal crafted a sound that paid tribute to the Norteño tradition while incorporating modern instruments like keyboards, as well as a more melodic, pop-influenced style with elaborate costumes. Between 1987 and 2012, they placed 16 albums in the Top 10 on the Mexican Regional Albums charts, including six No. 1 albums with hit songs like “Que No Quede Huella,” “Sergio el Bailador” and “No Nos Vamos a Olvidar.” Doors open at 7 p.m.
