Emerging during the grunge boom of the early ‘90s, Bush was the first British band post-Nirvana to hit it big in America. Following the release of their breakthrough debut “Sixteen Stone,” they carried that international, multi-platinum success to greater heights with their chart-topping follow-up, “Razorblade Suitcase.”
Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Gavin Rossdale, the band rounded out the ‘90s with “The Science of Things.” By 2001 the group had disbanded but was kick-started again in 2010 with the release of “The Sea of Memories.” Since reforming the group has put out five more studio albums including their most recent 2022 album “The Art of Survival.”
Joining Bush will be co-founder, vocalist, lead guitarist and main songwriter of the iconic Alice in Chains, Jerry Cantrell. An eleven-time Grammy award nominee, Cantrell has been cited as one of the “100 Greatest Guitar Players of All Time” by Guitar World and has received dozens of awards throughout his career for both his charitable and music achievements.
