Indulge your cravings with the Luck of the Irish Buffet Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 at The Grand Buffet. The specialty dinner buffet includes hearty items like corned beef and cabbage, shepherd’s pie, Irish lamb stew, colcannon potatoes, braised carrots, Guinness roasted chicken and more all for $39.99 per person. The Grand Buffet is open from 5 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and 4 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
If green beer isn’t your thing, try the Irish Margarita or the Orange Whiskey Cocktail at Crystal Lounge. With lush furnishings, premium bar service, and a selection of popular gaming machines on hand, the Crystal Lounge is the perfect place to take your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations up a notch.

Grand Hoops – Thursday, March 17-Friday, March 18 in Silver State Pavilion
Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) has college basketball fans covered with all the games on four high-definition large-format viewing screens. And with convenient William Hill betting stations placed in the ballroom, fans won’t have to miss any of the on-court action. Tickets are just $50 per day ($65 at the door) and include one drink ticket, hot and cold breakfast buffet served from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. and an all-you-can-eat stadium-style buffet from noon until 7 p.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. each day.
Grand Hoops Mania – Friday, March 18-Sunday, March 20 at LEX Nightclub
Catch all the college basketball action inside LEX Lounge. Enjoy complimentary entry, beer bucket specials and $4, $5, and $6 drink specials. Doors open at 9 a.m. daily.
Vive Latin Fridays – Friday, March 18 (and every Friday) at LEX Nightclub
Spice up your St. Patty’s Day weekend with Vive Latin Fridays. Popular DJs will be playing all the best salsa, bachata and cumbia music while dance pros teach a beginner lesson each week, transforming the nightclub into Reno’s hottest Latin dance club. Doors open at 7 p.m. with beginner-friendly lessons by BB and Kiki of Salsa Reno starting at 7:30 p.m. The party will continue at 10 p.m. when the nightclub doors open and Latin and top 40 hits play until last call. Admission is free before 7:30 p.m., $5 before 8:30 p.m., $10 before 10 p.m. and $20 after 10 p.m.
Daughtry: The Dearly Beloved Tour – Friday, March 18 in The Grand Theater
Chris Daughtry stands as one of American Idol’s most beloved — and commercially successful — rock and roll alums. Immediately following his adrenalin-filled run on the show in 2006, Daughtry formed his eponymous band, topping the Billboard 200 just a few months later with a self-titled debut album. Since then, the band has continued to give the epic performances fans remember from Daughtry’s Idol days, hitting the road again in 2014 with the Goo Goo Dolls and the Plain White T’s for one of the year’s most anticipated rock tours. Let’s Get Shamrocked – Saturday, March 19 at LEX Nightclub
LEX Nightclub will keep the party going on Saturday night with a Let’s Get Shamrocked party featuring $5 drink specials and beats and sounds by Jaymeebaaby and DJ GQ.
