The following terms and conditions apply to all reservations unless noted otherwise. Management reserves all rights.

Fees

Resort Fee

A Resort Fee of $39.95 plus 13% room tax per night per room of stay applies. Resort Fee includes access to our 24-hour Fitness Center, unlimited local and toll-free phone calls, two bottles of water and coffee in room daily, beverage refrigerator and in-room safe, boarding pass printing services located at the Bell Desk, computer access in the Business Center 24 hours a day with your room key, valet and self-parking, roundtrip airport shuttle service, and virtual guest service assistance.

Tourism Fee

A daily Reno-Spark Convention and Visitors Authority Tourism Surcharge of $2.00 will be charged per room.

Housekeeping Fee

An optional Housekeeping Fee of $1.99 per night per room applies to all rooms and suites.

Policies

Flexible 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation and refundable deposit on reservations when cancellation received at least 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival date and time. Cancellations made after that time will be subject to a penalty of the first night’s room rate plus tax. Reservations during special events and city-wide events (e.g., hot August Nights, Reno Rodeo) may be subject to cancellation terms of up to 14 days.

Deposit & Payment Policy

A deposit of the first night’s room rate and tax is due at the time of booking and will be charged to the credit card provided. Your room is held until 11:59pm on the date of arrival. All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card. Pursuant to credit card agreements, credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder. Credit cards must be signed. Cash (USD) payment is welcomed with a signed and pre-authorized credit card. All guests are required to present, in person, a valid major credit card and government issued photo identification even if guests are planning on paying in cash upon check-out. Checks and foreign currency not accepted.

Check-In & Check-Out Policy

Standard check-in time is 3:00pm on date of arrival, and standard check-out time is 11:00am on departure date.

Animal / Dog / Pet Policy

Service dogs that meet the requirements set forth by State of Nevada statute (NRS 426.510) will still be accepted on property. All other animals are not allowed within the resort.

Room Availability Policy

In the event more guests arrive than can be accommodated and your room is unavailable, the hotel will attempt to accommodate you at its expense, at a comparable hotel in the area for the oversold night(s), and will pay for transportation to that hotel.

Family Accommodation Policy

Room rates include the accommodation of children (17 years old or younger) who sleep in the existing bedding of a guest room. Rollaway beds and cribs may incur extra charges.

Age Requirement Policy

Guests must be 21 years or older with photo identification to book a room.

Promotion / Offer / Package Policy

Promotional activity may require a non-refundable deposit of a specific amount and will be posted on the promotion collateral. If you are not the original recipient of a promotion or offer, you are responsible for all conditions of that promotion and subject to its terms and conditions. Multiple promotions and offers may not be combined. Packages and all-inclusive offers may require a full deposit and unique cancellation policies. Reservations booked under a promotional casino marketing offer require the cardholder to be present at check-in. No substitutions.

Additional Charges

Extra Guest and Accommodation Charges

The nightly rate displayed is for single or double occupancy only. Additional adult guests are charged $25 per person per night is added to your room rate for the 3rd and 4th adult staying in the same room. At this hotel, Guests 17 and under are considered children. All other guests are considered adults. Adult rollaway beds will incur an additional charge. Infant cribs are provided at no additional charge and are subject to availability. Not all rooms may be able to accommodate adult rollaway beds or infant cribs. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

Early Check-In and Late Check-Out Charges

The opportunity for early check-in and late check-out times are available at the time of booking through the property’s direct booking web site or via telephone reservation.

Enhancement Charges

Enhancements must be cancelled 72 hours in advance or be billed regardless of use of service. If an enhancement is unavailable the guest may receive a full refund, or service and/or product of an equivalent price at the discretion of management.

Incidental Charges

A major credit card is required upon check-in and will be authorized for an incidental deposit of up to $50.00 per night per room. Resort fees and in-room incidentals will be charged against this deposit; any remaining unused funds may be unavailable for up to 7 business days for credit card refund processing. Please check with your issuing credit card institution for details.

Guaranteed Room Requests Charges

Additional room requests such as smoking/non-smoking preference are noted but not guaranteed. To discuss the possibility of guaranteeing your accommodation preferences, please call 1-800-501-2651 to speak to a guest services representative for current availability. A nominal nightly fee and deposit will be required should availability permit a guaranteed room type.

Transient Lodging Tax

Tax is subject to change with or without notice. The Transient Lodging Tax in effect at the time of stay will be charged and collected at check-in.

RV Park Specific Terms

RV Park Resort Fee

A Resort Fee of up to $16.95 plus 13% room tax per night per site of stay applies. Resort Fee includes complimentary access to our 24-hour Fitness Center*, The Pool* and computer access in the FedEx Office Business Center 24 hours a day*, valet and self-parking, roundtrip airport shuttle service, and virtual guest service assistance. (*access key provided by RV Park management upon request)

RV Park Vehicle Condition Policy

All incoming recreational vehicles, motor-homes and travel trailers must be in good condition and self-contained. Due to the high standards of quality in the GSR RV Park, pop-up trailers, tents or home constructed units will not be permitted. RV Park management has the right to refuse the use of sites to RVs which do not meet these criteria. RVs over 10 years of age must have RV Park approval upon arrival.

RV Park Pet Policy

Dogs are allowed to stay with RV Park guests and will be subject to existing restrictions on the following breeds: Pitbull, Bull Mastiff, Amstaff, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Doberman Pinscher, Wolfdog or Wolf Hybrid.

Animal / Dog / Pet Policy

Grand Sierra Resort and Casino no longer allows animals, dogs or pets on property. This change has been implemented in an effort to address and meet all of our guests’ concerns regarding safety and cleanliness. Service dogs that meet the requirements set forth by State of Nevada statute (NRS 426.510) will still be accepted on property.

It has been our pleasure to allow guests the privilege of bringing their pets when visiting Grand Sierra Resort, but unfortunately not everyone has been respectful of our pet policies and we find this change necessary. Should you require pet friendly accommodations the Hyatt Place Reno-Tahoe Airport is located a very short distance from Grand Sierra Resort. Thank you for your understanding.

Dogs Allowed in RV Park

The above policy update applies to the main Hotel and will not affect the existing policy for the RV Park. Dogs will still be allowed to stay with our RV Park guests and will be subject to the following policy:

  • Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners.
  • Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners’ vehicles. Do not leave a tethered dog unattended.
  • Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you’ll need to find other accommodations.
  • Please make sure to let us know you are bringing your furry friends. You can notify us by entering the number of pets in the ‘Comments’ in the online reservation form.
  • Pets need to be good neighbors, not excessively noisy, child friendly and non-aggressive (snarling, growling, jumping toward other people, etc. can scare other guests). If your pet becomes too un-neighborly, you may be asked to leave without a refund.
  • Please clean up after your pet(s), we provide potty bags for your convenience. Stepping in a pet’s deposit ruins the day for others. We monitor surveillance daily, and a $50 clean-up fee will be charged each time we need to clean up after a pet.

Non-Solicitation

Out of respect for the privacy of our team members and our guests, non-employee (non-team member) solicitors may not come onto Grand Sierra Resort premises at any time to solicit for any cause or to distribute material of any kind, for any purpose (except for invited commercial salespeople for business reasons).
