Reno Aces

The Reno Aces located just east of downtown Reno and only a short drive from the Grand Sierra Resort the Reno Aces are Reno’s minor league baseball team and is the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Reno Bighorns

The Reno Bighorns are an NBA Development D-League team based in Reno-Tahoe and play their home games at the Reno Events Center. Their NBA parent club is the Sacramento Kings, entering into a hybrid affiliation beginning with the 2013-2014 season.

UNR Football

The University of Nevada, Reno is one of the nation's top public research universities, yet small enough to connect students to professors. More than that, the university has a diverse sports program that attracts students from all over.

The sports program has produced a long list of notable athletes, most recently in Nevada footboall, Colin Kaepernick - graduated in 2011 and was the starting quarteback for the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.
