Burners Unite!

Burning Man is an annual event held the last Monday in August to the first Monday in September in Northern Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, approximately 4 hours north east of Reno.

Festival goers (known as “Burners”) from across the world descend upon Nevada to participate in this temporary metropolis dedicated to art, self-expression and community. Each year on the last Saturday night of the event, the group participates in the burning of a large wooden effigy of man.

Designed to be a community of inclusion of anyone, gift-giving and decommodification, this event has grown to more than 60,000 attendees.
