Reno, Nev. – FunQuest at Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) has revamped and expanded its arcade with a new soft play area for the youngsters and jam-packed with more than 20 new video games and a bounce house.
Located on the lower level, FunQuest has invested more than $300,000 in transformations, and the space encompasses more than 40,000 square feet of games and attractions.
FunQuest’s new soft play area is 56 feet long by 26 feet wide and three levels tall. With more than 32 play components inside of it, the unit features several different types of slides from speed to twisting slides. Several types of climbing tubes, rope swings, moon walks, rope bridges and several other components make the unit very unique.
In addition to experiencing the latest of what FunQuest has to offer, families and kids of all ages are welcome to enjoy Halloween fun from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 with clowns, face painting, balloon artists and more. Kids can participate in a costume contest, trick-or-treating , food stations and competitions including laser tag, racing games, Dance Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero and Hula Hoop contests. Guests may also enter to win raffle prizes from Oct. 16 – 31 will giveaways valued from $60 to $100.
FunQuest is birthday party central all year long. To celebrate its grand opening, FunQuest is giving away 20 complimentary birthday parties for the first 20 birthdays booked in October and November. Parties booked after the first 20 will receive a 20 percent discount.
To qualify, those entering to win must:
Book between Oct. 16 and Nov 30.
Must present proof of age
Limit parties to 12 children 14 years old and younger
Party winners will receive a 10-inch round cake, three pitchers of soda with complimentary refills and use of a party room for 90 minutes. Winners will also receive 12 wristbands valid for unlimited soft play or laser tag and $3 in tokens per child. All parties are subject to availability.
