Reno, Nev. - Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR), the region’s premier resort destination, was recently awarded a 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for consistently achieving outstanding traveler reviews on the popular online travel guide. The award recognizes hospitality excellence throughout the entire property which includes more than 2,000 rooms, a brand new spa, William Hill Race and Sports book, 10 dining options including Charlie Palmer Steak, Grand Theatre, WET Ultra Lounge and more.

“To receive an award like the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is truly an honor as it is a reflection of the many positive reviews and outstanding experiences that our guests have had at the GSR over the past year,” said Dan Uonites, general manager of GSR. “We are committed to providing all of our guests with world-class accommodations, dining, entertainment and other amenities as well as exceptional service and awards like this serve as a good indicator that we are accomplishing this goal.”

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four (or higher) out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on the TripAdvisor.com website. Additional criteria includes the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months. This is GSR’s second Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor.
