George Thorogood and The Destroyers rock Grand Sierra this spring

Reno, Nev. –Noted as one of the most popular classic rock groups on tour today, George Thorogood and The Destroyers (GT&D) will visit Grand Sierra Resort and Casino’s (GSR) Grand Theatre on Friday, Mar. 10. Known for popular hits such as “Move it on Over” and “Bad to the Bone,” the group has earned mass popularity throughout their decades long career. After opening for The Rolling Stones during their historic 1981 U.S. tour, GT&D would go on to host their own rigorous “50/50” tour in which the group toured all 50 states in 50 days. Since then, GT&D has had several appearances on Saturday Night Live, sold 15 million albums worldwide and released 20 albums, two of which were certified platinum. Comprised of George Thorogood, Jeff Simon, Bill Blough, Jim Suhler and Buddle Leach, GT&D will perform all of their classic rock hits on the Grand Theatre stage with a portion of the proceeds going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
