Progressive Grand Bad Beat Jackpot

The $25,000 progressive Grand Bad Beat Jackpot is your chance to win big.

Rules

If progressive jackpot is not awarded in six months, qualifying hands are reduced by one rank.

Progressive - starting at $25,000. Initial Back-up amount - $10,000. Once reserves reach $10,000 they will increase as progressive also.

Drop Distribution - 30% of Total JP Drop will be feeding GBB distributed as follows:

  • 1% of Total JPot Drop will feed Main Jackpot (updated Daily)
  • 20% will feed both GBB back-up (reserve) #1 and #2 equally until both balances reach $10,000
  • 9% will feed Progressive Reserve

If necessary, funds from reserve #2 will be used to balance Progressive Reserve.

Once Reserve #1 and #2 have reached $10,000, 5% will feed Main Jackpot, 5% will feed Reserve #1, 5% will feed Reserve #2, and 15% will feed Progressive Reserve.

Once Main Jackpot is awarded, Reserve #1 will become Main Jackpot, Reserve #2 will become Reserve #1, and Reserve #2 will begin accumulating from $0 at the same rate of 5% each, daily.

Qualifying

Cash game players only. Must be dealt in, cannot have a missed blind.

Hold 'Em - Lose with four 10s or better, must have pocket pair, or both cards must play with straight flush, $20 in the main pot, min 4 players dealt in. Players with missed blind button and players that were not dealt in do not qualify to receive any part of progressive payout.

Omaha/Stud/Pineapple – Lose with 8 High Straight Flush or better. Both hole cards must play. $20 in the main pot, min 4 players dealt in. Players with missed blind button and players that were not dealt in do not qualify to receive any part of progressive payout.

BigO/5 card Omaha – Lose with 10 High Straight Flush or Better. Both hole cards must play. $20 in the main pot, min 4 players dealt in. Players with missed blind button and players that were not dealt in do not qualify to receive any part of progressive payout.

Every (6) Six months that the Jackpot is not awarded, the qualifying hand will be reduced by one rank.

  • Example – July 1 2017, Hold 'Em Jackpot qualifier will be changed from four 10s to four 9s beaten, if still not awarded by January 1, 2018, Hold 'Em jackpot will be awarded with four 8s beaten.
  • Omaha/Stud/Pineapple – Will change to 7 high straight flush beaten after six months, 6 high after 12 months – if not awarded.

Hold 'Em qualifier will be reduced no lower than four 2s beaten.

Omaha/Stud/Pineapple qualifier will be reduced no lower than four 10s beaten.

BigO/5 card Omaha qualifier will be reduced no lower than four Queens beaten.

Once Progressive is awarded qualifiers will reset, and Bad Beat reserve #1 amount will become Jackpot amount.

Payout is as follows:

  • 50% paid to loser
  • 30% paid to winner
  • 20% split equally to all qualifying players in the Poker Room

Mini Bad Beat

The Mini Bad Beat Jackpot is the loser's favorite!

$599 goes to the loser of the hand, with $300 to the winner and $100 to every active qualified player in the Poker Room.

Rules

Funded through equal percentage of high hand progressive allotment.

Set amount- $599 paid to loser | $300 paid to winner.

$100 paid to every active (dealt in) cash game player without a missed blind button in the room.

Qualifying

Hold 'Em - Lose with Aces full of Jacks or better to qualify, will not be paid in conjunction with Grand Bad Beat. Should both qualifiers be met, the higher paying Jackpot will be awarded. Must have pocket pair, or both cards must play, no kickers. $20 in the main pot, min 4 players dealt in.

Omaha/Stud/Pineapple - Lose with quad 5s or better to qualify. Will not be paid in conjunction with Grand Bad Beat. Should both qualifiers be met, the higher paying Jackpot will be awarded. $20 in the main pot, min 4 players dealt in.
